I am in LOVE with Kracow. Not only is it absolutely gorgeous, but the people here are some of the friendliest I've met. I was trying to buy a phone card from a girl at a kiosk yesterday, and she couldn't understand me, so she went and found her friend who was waitressing at a cafe nearby to come and translate! And while the women in Prague seemed like they'd rather spit at me than look at me, the women here seem to be the friendly and helpful ones. I'll always be grateful for the girl yesterday who helped us with the metro police situation.
This city has got to have the best nightlife in the entire world. I don't have long to write about it, but last night, at one of the million amazing bars and clubs here (think of a whole downtown of Queen St West in Toronto, or Whyte Ave in Edmonton) I was sitting around a table with a german, austrian, russian, new zealander, irish, american, french, swiss and danish person. There wasn't one repeat of nationality! And everyone has such diverse interests and experiences. I'm in heaven, seriously.
Today I'm off for a more sobering experience. Auschwitz. I'm taking the bus with a few other people from my hostel (it's about 1.5 hours away). Will tell you all about it tomorrow.
Amy, Tracy, Christina: Of course I remember you! I wondered if you were still reading. We'll be getting together for SURE as soon as I get back, and you can tell me how things are going there.
Teresa: It was great hanging out with you too. I can't wait to see Cesky Krumlov, it sounds so fun!
Dani: I'm totally up for hanging out with street musicians in Toronto!

Good luck today hun, take tissues.
Hey Laura. Of course we're still reading - it's the highlight of our day (I'm not being sarcastic). It just goes to show you how sad it is around here without you. Paint the town lady. Write on, write on. Tracy
